In the Community

Atlantic Realty believes in giving back to the community. Our staff participates in many local charity events and fundraisers throughout the year as well as serving on the Board on some of these organizations. Here's a sample of some of the work we've been doing and the efforts we're proud to support.

The Outer Banks Hospital’s “Get Pinked! and More” Campaign – Originally kicked off in August 2010 to raise money and awareness for breast cancer detection and treatment of this disease (“Get Pinked!”). This program expanded in 2012 to include other cancers as well as transportation for patients to and from treatment and was called “Beyond Pink.” 100% of the proceeds from this campaign stay in Dare County to help men and women cover the costs of detection and treatment of cancer.

Tim Tebow Foundation “Night to Shine” Event – Global event to celebrate the special needs community. This red carpet gala is held simultaneously throughout the world in February, the Friday night before Valentine’s Day, locally held at Nags Head Church. Please consider donating to this worthy cause to support your ‘home away from home!’

Project Glam Girls & Guys – A complimentary boutique set up each year, most recently hosted by Manteo Faith Church, in February or March, prior to ‘Eighth Grade Dance’ and area High School Proms. Offering evening gowns, dresses, suits, tuxs, shoes and all of the trimmings for students for FREE. Donations of Glam received year-round at Atlantic Realty (and other drop-off locations prior to the event). Please consider bringing your GLAM with you on your vacation to the OBX and dropping it by our office!

The Salvation Army – We send many donations of furniture and clothing to them throughout the year as well as support their annual ‘Red Kettle’ donation drive by serving as Bell Ringers.

The Surfrider Foundation – The Atlantic Realty staff has adopted the Luke Street beach access in Kitty Hawk and makes it a point to keep it clean and free of trash with monthly beach cleanups.
