This was our first time renting the Leeward Inn and we plan to come back. This house was perfect for our family! Kids loved the pool. House was clean, comfortable and has everything we could need. Short walk to a beautiful beach with lifeguard. Southern Shores is a perfect location for a family beach vacation. We will be back next year!! Thank you

My family enjoyed our time at the Leeward Inn. If you have booked this house you are in for a treat. The home is quiet, the pool is private and the beach, shopping, restaurants are only minutes away. Have rented many beach homes in the past and this one was the best. The home is very clean and the staff at Atlantic Realty are responsive to guest needs. Booking this home is a win in my book. Enjoy.

Overall we had a great experience. The 2 block walk to the beach was easy, even with 3 kids. The outdoor screened in porch was a great place to play games at night. We really got good use out of the pool and hot tub. My kids loved all the pool/beach toys and board games that were available.

This property was absolutely fantastic. Upon arrival, we took a tour and were enamored by the charm of the place and the wonderful pool and hot tub area. There is a sand pit for the kids and more than enough beds to go around. The second thing we did was unpack, and we realized very quickly that we had over-packed. This house is packed with everything you could possibly need for a stay at the beach. A beach cart, chairs, a seat for the toddler...all the things taking up so much room during the long car ride. The beach, when we got to go, was beautiful as well. Being that we were there for a tropical storm and therefore weathered some tremendous wind and rain, we were never bored. It was nice to just sit around such a great house as well. I really enjoyed the hammock swing, so much so that we may order one for ourselves. I could not recommend this property any more than I do!

This was the first vacation my family and I have been on in 3 years. I really thought it was not going to be possible due to covid 19. The home was beautiful. The poolside bathroom was such a great luxury. Especially with kids. I loved the hammock and swing. Although we brought our own chairs, there were plenty of chairs downstairs. There were also extra coolers, games, toys, pool floats, etc. The kitchen had every tool, utensil or appliance except for a chopper to ground meat but I improvised. We ate most meals out on the screened in porch. And I couldn't have asked for better weather. It rained on the last full day and the day we left (so at least it wasn't sunny on the day we left; that would have made leaving even harder).I would absolutely recommend this cottage especially to families with children. I'd love to stay here again!

Thank you for a wonderful week at the Leeward Inn! We absolutely loved the house, the location, the decor and the pool! The house has a cozy feel, is very clean and beautifully decorated. We loved eating out on the covered porch and listening to the birds and nature! We took advantage of the large DVD collection and played a couple of board games with the kiddos. We were pleasantly surprised with the pool floats/noodles that were already at the house for our use. The pool side bathroom is quite possibly the best idea ever, lol!The house has everything you could possibly think of and has the best stocked kitchen of any house we have stayed in:) We loved staying here and look forward to coming back in the future. Thank you so much for sharing your house with us!

This was our first trip to OBX and it was the best vacation we've ever taken! My (now) fiancé proposed to me at Leeward Inn which makes this spot that much more special to us. We brought his 3 boys (ages 10, 14, and 18) with us and they absolutely LOVED the pool and basketball hoop. They also loved having their own bedrooms and we loved having our own master bedroom and bathroom separate from them. The house is beautifully decorated and maintained and fully stocked with anything and everything you could possibly need. We took full advantage of the kitchen gadgets including the Keurig and the beach chairs/coolers. The kids also loved the pool floats and spent many days/hours outside enjoying the private oasis. We walked to the beach and loved the convenience of parking close by it on the days we didn't feel like walking. The movie and book selection at the house made every day/evening spent there fully entertaining. We only have amazing things to say about the Leeward Inn and can't stop talking about when we're going to make it back down there again. You HAVE to stay here if you're looking for the perfect getaway!

The house is perfect for a family vacation. Beautifully appointed with lots of little extra touches to make a memorable vacation. It was spotless - inside and out- and a well stocked kitchen for cooking it. The walk to the beach was easy and there is also a shaded parking lot close to the beach. We spent our time between the beach and the big pool and had a blast. Definitely recommend this home for a great family vacation!

There are not enough words to express how much we LOVED the Leeward Inn! The house is absolutely gorgeous and secluded to give you the perfect amount of privacy. It?s conveniently located to the beach, within walking distance, plus they give you access to two different parking areas so you barely have to walk if you?re carrying chairs and a cooler. Did I mention they also have chairs and coolers for you to take to the beach so you don?t have to bring your own from home?! The pool is HUGE and we loved the shallow and deep end options. They also provide pool rafts, fun toys, and so many lounge chairs with cushions. The hot tub was very clean and we enjoyed relaxing in it after a full day of events. The decks are fabulous, so much space to relax, read, and enjoy your morning coffee. The bedrooms are spacious and the kids loved having a tv in each room. The kitchen is FULLY stocked with every and anything you could possibly need to make your meals. And there?s a keurig, which us coffee lovers enjoyed thoroughly! We actually got engaged at the Leeward Inn, outside of the house and carport, during our first trip to OBX. It was magical, everything about this house, Fran and Dave, and Atlantic Realty.. we could not have asked for a better experience or more kindhearted people. I HIGHLY recommend you book to stay here and I promise you will not be disappointed. I seriously cannot stop talking about this place and experience to all of my family and friends. We look forward to returning for years to come!!

We could not have found a better beach house for our family getaway. Everything we could need was in this wonderful house. Great location to skip the OBX traffic - and excellent beach access down the street. The pool area with outside bathroom was great for an afternoon cool down. Everything in the house is thoughtfully provided for relaxing family time! Our thanks to the owners for providing a great week!
